Facility Use Request
Parish organizations and committees make use of our 58 rooms and facilities every day.
What types of rooms are available?
Classrooms with student desks are appropriate for small meetings of less than 25 participants. Some classrooms have round tables, which may be suitable for crafting type activities. Several meeting rooms with conference tables are suitable for meetings of 5-17 people. The Library has nine tables with 45 total chairs, and is suitable for larger meetings. Britt Hall seats over 320 participants. The Knights of Columbus Hall (Acree Hall) is rented for smaller parties--see the Sunday bulletin for K of C contact information.
How do I request a facility?
You must submit a facility use request (use link on this page). You will receive an email confirmation when approved and scheduled. Without that email confirmation, you may not use the facility. Because of the volume of activity here at IHM, we enforce this very strictly!
I’m a parishioner, but I coach a non-IHM team. Can I reserve the gym?
No. Insurance constraints prohibit such use without required waivers of liability forms being completed; therefore, we never permit non-IHM team use. Because of the very active sports program here at IHM, we do not permit “open” gym time.
How about a wedding reception?
Britt Hall is available for receptions or other large parties. Such use requires a rental contract and fee. You must contact the Boonedockers directly to rent Britt Hall. See the bulletin for current contact information.
How do my meeting attendees know what room we are in?
Just inside the front doors of the building, there is a signboard with that day’s room reservations.
How will I gain access to the room?
Certain parishioners have been issued a key. If your reserved room is locked, you should look for a parish staff member for assistance.
