Maintenance Committee

The Maintenance Committee will assist the Pastor in the development and implementation of a Facilities Maintenance Plan.  This plan details our strategy for proactively maintaining our facilities.  Our plan will reflect the mission and vision of our Parish and will:  1) seek out and incorporate the prospective and needs of the users of our facility; and 2) focus on preventative measures that ensure our capital investment is managed responsibly.  We will endeavor to integrate best practices of planning, implementation, and evaluation at every step of the process.

Vision

The Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Maintenance Committee will provide a clean, safe, cost-effective, and supportive environment that contributes to our Parish’s mission.

Goals include:

  • Contribute to our overall effectiveness and financial well-being

  • Reduce the operational costs and life-cycle cost of our buildings

  • Extend the useful life of the buildings
  • Increase energy efficiency (thereby reducing costs) and care for the environment
