1C - Pamela Klear

I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Burlington, Kentucky over nine years ago. My husband, Daniel, and I have been married for over 15 years. I have 3 children who attend IHM; Matthew (13), Anna (11), and Sarah (10). I have taught in a Catholic School for all of my years of teaching. I taught half a day for a year in Third Grade and am now teaching First Grade at Immaculate Heart of Mary. I previously taught seventh and eighth grades at Sts. Peter and Paul Elementary School in Reading, Ohio. I attended the University of Cincinnati and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the College of Mount St. Joseph. I am now attending Xavier University to acquire my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I chose teaching as a career because it is very rewarding to have such a positive impact on a young child’s life. Children are our future.
