2A - Nancy Marcos

I am a Second Grade teacher and I teach Religion, Math, Reading, Language, Science, Social Sciences, Phonics, Spelling, and Handwriting.

I began teaching at IHM in 2001. I taught 5th through 8th grade Spanish for 3 years. In 2004 I became a full-time 2nd Grade Teacher here at IHM. Prior to my arrival at IHM I taught 5th and 6th grade Math and Science along with Spanish for 2 years in Richardson, Texas.

My Bachelors in Science, Summa Cum Laude, Mathematics, was obtained at the University of North Texas. Masters of Education, Gifted and Talented endorsement, was obtained here at Northern Kentucky University.

My husband, Emilio, and I have three daughters, and six cats. We have made Kentucky our home for over 12 years.
