3C - Alison Fozkos

I have been teaching at IHM since 2006 and have been teaching 3rd or 4th grade in the Diocese of Covington since 1998. I also taught 3 year- old preschool for a few years in Michigan before moving to Kentucky. I earned my undergraduate degree from St. Mary-of the-Woods College in Terre Haute, Indiana. My major was elementary education with a minor in kindergarten. I earned my master’s degree from Northern Kentucky University in general education. I love to teach. I always tell my students that teaching is my vocation. I can’t imagine doing anything else with my life other than working with children and teaching them. I grew up in the town of Seymour, Indiana where I was a member of Future Teachers of America, the school newspaper, and the school band and choir. My husband, Mark, and I have 2 children and are members of IHM parish. We are avid Notre Dame, Chicago Bears, and North Carolina fans!
