Principal - Mr. Mike Jacks

I am most grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School community. I have been an administrator here since 2007. I began my teaching career as a junior high math and science teacher. This is my thirtieth year in catholic education and twelfth year as a principal. My teaching, administration, as well as personal and faith life, have evolved into a tremendously rewarding and satisfying experience. The relationships that have developed over the years are the fiber and fuel for my continued service in the Diocese of Covington.

I graduated from Thomas More College (1982) and Xavier University (1994) earning my BA, MA, and Administrative Certification (1998). I grew up in rural Ohio with many wonderful experiences. I am blessed with the love and support of my wife and my two daughters. Without their love and understanding, my role as administrator would not be enjoyable or possible. They are an integral aspect of my decision-making, ideas, and values. I love and respect my family and honor their involvement in my life.

I look forward to many more years of service at IHM as my vision for excellence in student learning and assisting parents and teachers with the faith formation of the best students around!
