My name is Jean Krzywonos and I am the Pre-School teacher's assistant and the Director of the IHM After School Care Program. This is my 12th year as the pre school teacher's assistant. I have been working in the Aftercare program for 11 years and this is my 9th year as the director.
I grew up here in Burlington, KY was baptized at Immaculate Heart of Mary. My mom, Betty Poole, is a charter member of IHM and played the organ from the beginning of IHM and played here more than 50 years. She is now retired from playing full time. My husband Mark has been a member of IHM since the late '80's and is currently serving on parish council.
I teach because everyday I learn something new from the students here at IHM and my favorite thing to tell others is that "on my worst day at school, I still love my job"!!
As of January 1, 2012 the IHM After Care Program will be closing at 4:30 p.m. on FRIDAYS ONLY. This will continue until further notice. Thank you.
