Admission
The RAP (Ready Active Participants) Program at IHM is open to all-Jr. high students, grade 7 & 8, within the parish boundary. Classes generally begin the second week of September and continue until May. A class schedule is given to parents the first evening of class.
Jr. High Edge Youth Group is available to RAP students every other Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in Britt Hall.
RAP Classes are held on Monday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
Fees are payable at the beginning of each current RAP year. They cover the cost of all materials needed.
Attendance
It is very important for students to attend RAP classes on a regular basis as well as to arrive on time. For many RAP students this may be the last year of their formal religious education, therefore, we feel that weekly attendance is essential.
Parents
We ask you to reflect on the following statement:
What our young people need today are not adults who will hand over information but adults who will hand over themselves and the witness of their own faith life.
