Our theme song for this catechetical year 2007 - 2008 is:
GROWING IN CHRIST
WE ARE TO GROW IN EVERY WAY,
INTO..........CHRIST EPH. 4:15
Scatter the seeds and give them to God.
Dead they remain, 'til touched by his rod.
Each little seed is part of God's plan.
Maturing to fullness, blessed by his hand.
Scatter the seeds, place them not in soil.
But into God's palm, let him work and toil.
Be there to bless them, and meet all their needs.
God's grace will rain down, just scatter the seeds.

OUR challenge is to grow more Christ-Like each day. Here are some ways to do this:
- Make a commitment to grow in faith: PRAY every day!
- Focus on your need to grow in knowledge of your faith: READ the Bible! Attend Fr. Comer's "Know Your Faith" series on Wednesdays.
- Live what you believe: DO something for someone else. It can be as simple as wiping a child's tears or listening to a lonely or sick person.
- Appreciate daily blessings: CUTIVATE an "attitude of gratitude". Recognize and give thanks for the many blessings that are folded into your day.
- Accept life's difficulties: SURRENDER yourself to God's divine plan which in time makes all things well.
