Good News Clues
“DISCOVER JESUS”

“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
- Jeremiah 29:13

DO YOU KNOW HIS NAME?

There is a friend whom you should know.
He is the very BEST!
He’s with you every night and day.
He never takes a rest.

He loves you more than anyone.
He showed His love this way:
He died to wash you clean from sin.
And take your guilt away.

He gives you everything you need.
You’ll never be the same.
You have a friend who loves you so…
Do you know His name?

Weekly, students and teachers will use their prayer cloth at
prayer time and plan what GOOD NEWS CLUES they will
decorate their prayer cloth with as the year progresses.

The challenge this year is to imitate each day the GOOD NEWS
CLUES that we discover about Jesus in our grade level Bible Stories.

Here are some ways we can choose to imitate Jesus.

      1. Make a commitment to grow in Faith: PRAY every day.
      2. Focus on your need to grow in the knowledge of your faith: READ the Bible! Attend Fr. Comer’s “RCIA for Catholics” on Wednesdays.
      3. Live what you believe: DO something for someone else. It can be as simple as wiping a child’s tears or listening to a lonely or sick person.
      4. Appreciate daily blessings; CULTIVATE an “attitude of gratitude”. Recognize and give thanks for the many blessings that are folded into your day.
      5. Accept life’s difficulties. SURRENDER yourself to God’s divine plan which in time makes all things well.
