The sacrament where a baptized man and woman become partners for their whole life and gives a special grace and strength to the man and woman who receive it.
The special grace and strength given in the Sacrament of Matrimony helps the couple to live their Christian lives together as husband and wife and mother and father, to be faithful to each other, to share their difficulties and joys together, and to bring up their children in the love and service of God.
Those planning Christian marriage must notify the pastor at least six months in advance so that adequate preparation and careful planning can be done.
A marriage preparation program is offered and required by the Diocese.
