The sacrament in which we celebrate God’s mercy and forgiveness of our sins.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, gave the Church the power to forgive sins when he breathed on the Apostles and said:
‘Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven.’ (John 20 22:23)
At IHM Reconciliation is celebrated in the Reconciliation Room and may be received on Saturdays 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. or anytime by appointment.
Or
On the first Saturday of the month after 9:30 a.m. Mass.
First Reconciliation for Second graders is usually held on the first Tuesday evening of February.
First Reconciliation for the 2005-2006 school year is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7th at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Febuary 8th at 6:30 p.m.
A Parent Meeting for First Reconciliation is scheduled for Monday, November 27th from 7-9 p.m. in the Britt Hall.
