IHM PRE SCHOOL NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents:

          Many thanks to our room parents that helped to make our first holiday party a success!  The Halloween parties and parades went well.  The weather was AWESOME and a fun time was had by all!    

          The month of November finds us giving thanks to God for our many blessings.  We are truly blessed with the opportunity to work with your children and be a part of the IHM Family.  We are grateful for all of you, for your constant support of our program. Together we work to make IHM Pre School the BEST!  May God continue to watch over us and bless us with his never-ending graces.

PICTURE DAY: November 18^TH for 3yr. old classes. Picture packages are to be paid by picture day.  Let us know if you need another order form.  This is also picture RETAKE day.  Any 4yr.old students that were not photographed or any desiring RETAKES should arrive at 10am.

PENNIES…PENNIES…PENNIES AND PRAYERS:  For our November Hands of Service Project we are asking the Pre School Children to collect pennies.  We will be trying to fill a big jar in the Pre School room.  We will donate pennies collected to Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota for Lakota People.  This reservation, struggles with extreme poverty.  Monies will be used for propane and food for the winter months.  The children will be learning that pennies add up to dollars to help those in need.  We will pray for the Lakota People as well.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL FOOD DRIVE :  Pre School children are asked to bring “breakfast items” during the month of November.            

THANKSGIVING CELEBRATIONS:  The 3yr old classes will be making “Share Soup” and having a Friendship Brunch on Tues.

Nov. 25^th.

The 4 yr old classes will be having a “First Thanksgiving Feast” on Mon. Nov. 24^th.

More information regarding these celebrations will be sent home soon.

November 26^th, 27^th, 28^th:     NO SCHOOL…

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Please note** theren was an error on 4yr. old snack lists.  There is NO SCHOOL on the 26^th. 

REMINDER:  Please “winterize” your child’s change of clothes bag here at school if you haven’t already done so.
