The 6,7,8 grade students will be required to sign up with BCPL Summer Reading Program.  They will be required to complete the minimum amount of reading = 1 book log = 10 hours of reading.  They must return the (bookmark) book log to the library, which verifies a self-reporting of reading 10 hours.  They will receive from BCPL a book and a small prize.  The Teen Librarian, Dawn McMillan, will keep statistics and send the list of names to Mrs. Kelly Wagner and Ms. Becky Downs.

Mrs. Wagner and Ms. Downs, in addition to the 10 hours of reading, will issue the students a simple reflection about their reading due the first week of school.

See second page for Grades 6, 7, & 8th worksheet.

Students may complete extra book logs and they will receive extra credit points from their teacher

If you have a book from last year that you would like to lend - please place the student’s name in the book and send to school.

Check out the local libraries and Barnes and Noble.
